BERLIN, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- Four people were injured early Monday when a car crashed into a van on a highway in the southern German city of Nuremberg, German news agency dpa reported.
The report said the van had broken down and was stopped on the deceleration lane of an exit when the collision occurred. A 26-year-old driver leaving the highway failed to notice it and crashed into the rear of the vehicle.
The 55-year-old van driver and his 48-year-old passenger were seriously injured, while the car driver and his 24-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries.
Further investigation is underway. ■
